About the Event

This interactive session is designed to look at the role of a Trustee/Director and give practical guidance on how you can support and challenge schools in a Trust whilst ensuring compliance with statutory legislation.
The session will include:
•Identify how your role fits within the Trust model
•Review Trust compliance using national guidance
•Methods of collecting evidence and compliance from Local Governing Bodies
This is suitable for both new and experienced MAT Trustees/Directors.
*Please note this session is designed for MAT Trustee/Directors who have a role in whole Trust governance and accountability. It is not designed for collegagues who have day-to-day responsibility for safeguarding in a Trust.
