About the Event

The session will cost:

£50 per delegate (Enhanced SLA)

£75 per delegate (Core SLA)

£100 per delegate (Non member)

The session is aimed at school leaders, safeguarding leads and business managers to clarify requirements within the updated guidance and best practice.  The session will cover;

  • Understanding of responsibilities of schools in respect of safeguarding for after-school clubs, community activities and tuition
  • Best practice guidance to create a safe environment for children in the provider's care
  • Understanding risks and how to mitigate against them
  • What to do if there is a concern

Note:  This session focuses on the safeguarding aspects of school letting arrangements only. Schools are advised to seek independent legal advice in drafting lettings agreements to ensure all statutory and contractual requirements are also met
