About the Event
This is an exciting opportunity for family support workers to meet colleagues from across the region in a similar role. The network meetings are a great way for workers to come together and share good practice and also discuss any challenges they are currently facing. We also have a guest speaker at all of the meetings, to update us about new projects or interesting pieces of work that may support the work you undertake with families. We also invite workers to send any agenda items that they would like to discuss, before the session takes place and we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
- Guest Speaker – Kwanele Bhebe – Children North East – Domestic Abuse Recovery in Education Programme.
- What’s working well following lockdown?
- What challenges are we still facing whilst supporting children and young people in education?
The session will involve a guest speaker and informal group discussion.
